Travel by train

Nuremberg is optimally integrated in the German and European railway networks. One highly comfortable option is e. g. the ICE. U1 underground line in the direction of "Langwasser" takes you from mainstation to the station "Messe" in less than 10 minutes.

Travel by public transport

The Nuremberg area has excellent local public transport. The most important suburban trains and buses accept a standard ticket. The Nuremberg Exhibition Centre can easily be reached by:

  • U1 underground line to "Langwasser Süd"
  • leaving the train at "Messe" station

Travel by car

Europe's leading traffic and parking guidance system takes the stress out of your arrival. Well organised shuttles connect the motorway, city, and region to the Exhibition Centre.

Travel by bus

If you are travelling by coach, there are plenty of parking spaces available in the area of Große Straße and Entrance 3A. These are specially signposted at the exhibition centre.

Travel by plane

Nuremberg Airport is very close to the city and has excellent links to metropolises both inside and beyond the borders. Further details can be found here.

By public transport:

Access to the U2 underground line to "Nuremberg Röthenbach" in front of the terminal.

Change at Nuremberg main station to the U1 underground line to "Langwasser", leaving the train at the "Messe" station. Total journey time approx. 20 minutes.

By taxi:

From the airport to the exhibition centre (24 hours a day, journey time approx. 25 minutes); cost approx. 32,00 €.

By rental car:

All the well-known car hire firms like Avis, Hertz, Europcar and Sixt are represented at Nuremberg airport.
