HOW TO GET TO IFH/Intherm IN NUREMBERG

Planning your journey to IFH/Intherm is easy: the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre is easily accessible by both public transport and car. Here you will find all the information you need for a stress-free journey.

By public transport

The Nuremberg metropolitan area is well served by public transport. You can easily use the main train and bus routes with a single ticket.

You can easily reach the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre

  • Take the U1 underground line towards "Langwasser Süd"

  • "Messe" stop

  • A single ticket or a day ticket if you plan to make several journeys

The quickest way to get to the exhibition is by public transport.

Get on the U1 at Nuremberg Central Station and you’ll reach NürnbergMesse in 9 minutes. If you take the U2 from Nuremberg Airport, you’ll be there within 25–30 minutes, including any changes at the central station. Either way: when you get off the underground at the “Messe” stop, you’ll be right at the “Mitte” entrance to NürnbergMesse.

By car

Europe’s leading traffic and parking guidance system ensures a stress-free journey. A well-developed network of access roads connects the motorway, the city and the surrounding region to the exhibition centre.

By bus

If you are arriving by coach, there is ample parking available in the area around Große Straße and Entrance 3A. These areas will be clearly signposted at the exhibition grounds.

By long-distance coach

The rapidly expanding network of long-distance coach routes within Germany offers travellers an affordable way to travel to Nuremberg.

By plane

Nuremberg Airport is very close to the city centre and offers excellent connections to major cities both within Germany and abroad. You can reach the exhibition centre by underground in around 20 minutes. You can find information on flight schedules and transport links for Nuremberg Airport here.

By public transport: The U2 underground line departs for "Nürnberg Röthenbach" right outside the terminal; buy a single ticket for Zone A or a day ticket if you plan to make several journeys.
Change at Nuremberg Central Station to the U1 underground line towards "Langwasser Süd"; the total journey time is approximately 20 minutes to the "Messe" stop.

By taxi: The journey from the airport to the exhibition centre takes around 25 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs approximately €32.00.

Taxis at the airport: You will find plenty of taxis right outside each terminal.

Taxis at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre: You will find plenty of taxis at the open exhibition entrances.

By hire car: All the major car hire companies, such as Avis, Hertz, Europcar and Sixt, are represented at Nuremberg Airport.
